We were close to having one of the worst experiences with Express pro if it wasn't for Bryan Basilio that we are giving it a 5 ⭐ review. We started with Paul as our consultant which we sincerely regret. It started out good but completely disrespectful & classless that he didn't answer any of our messages after payment, we would not recommend Paul as a consultant at all. Bryan is truly the diamond of this company, his assistance, quick responses and always staying on top of everything, there aren't enough words to describe how great Bryan has been during this process that we were able to forget how bad this experience started off, to how smooth this whole process went when Bryan took full responsibility of taking care of us. For everyone looking to work with Express pro, Bryan Basilio is the first consultant you should reach out too for assistance. Give this man a promotion!! I want to thank Fatma and Bryan for their excellent service. I encountered a problem and wasn’t sure how to handle it, but their support team responded quickly and guided me through the solution step by step. They were professional, kind, and really made me feel supported throughout the process. I’m satisfied with the way they handled the situation and truly appreciate their help.
Terrible experience. After full payment for business setup, visa, and insurance, Express Pro assigned Jaweria as our operations contact — completely unresponsive. Almost 2 months with no calls answered, no updates, no feedback. WhatsApp group created but no replies at all. Extremely unprofessional. Strongly advise not paying anything upfront. And if Express Pro assigns Jaweria to your case, do not accept — she was never present from day one and provided zero support throughout the entire process.
I believe the name should be Slow PRO instead of Express PRO, as their management and team have shown a lack of customer-centric values. Initially, the person handling my family’s visa resigned without any proper handover. Afterwards, Paul was assigned to manage our case — unfortunately, he has been completely unresponsive. Despite repeated calls and messages, I have received no communication or updates from him. Due to their delay and lack of coordination, I’ve had to endure unnecessary stress and additional expenses. This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I strongly urge others to carefully reconsider before using their services.
I had high expectations for Express PRO based on their reputation, but unfortunately, my experience fell far short. I reached out for assistance with a service, and while communication initially seemed fine, things quickly took a turn for the worse. Paul, the consultant assigned to me, was not only unhelpful but also dismissive. When I contacted him via WhatsApp, he called back and stated he had many clients, implying that my situation wasn’t a priority. While I understand that delays can happen, especially during Ramadan and with government approvals, I was hoping for regular updates without having to chase for information. What’s more concerning is that Paul’s tone was rude and dismissive, rather than professional or empathetic. As a paying client, I expected better communication and respect, especially when there are delays. This was not the level of customer service I had anticipated. Additionally, the delivery of the renewed Emirates ID was not included in the service and was instead charged separately. I was informed that if I did not want to pay for delivery, I would need to arrange to collect the ID myself, which was both inconvenient and frustrating despite having already paid for AED 7.9K for the services. Overall, my experience with Express PRO was disappointing. Poor communication, unprofessional behavior and a lack of respect for my time and concerns have left me dissatisfied. I would not recommend their services based on this experience.
I am writing this review to hopefully save somebody else from having the same traumatising experience as me. Naturally when I decided to open my fitness business, I did a lot of research to find a good PRO and came across Express Pro with a 4.8* review. I was convinced after reading the reviews and contacted them. I was first in touch with Jaweria who gave me a fee quote and initially was very helpful. A couple of weeks after I paid 5,000 as a deposit, Jaweria went on urgent leave without communicating this to me and my case was handed to Paul John. This is where the nightmare began. First, I was told my business required a 51% local shareholder, which sent me into a panic as this was never disclosed to me originally by Jaweria and I had already paid a lot of money for my equipment. After much anxiety, Paul then said he sorted this and this doesn’t apply. A week after, I was told my trade name was approved and began preparing my branding and logo, only for Paul to come back to me and say they rejected my trade name… Makes no sense to me till today. At this point, I was fed up, 2 weeks with no progress. Then came Brian (the 3rd person now involved in my case). After multiple back and fourths, Brian managed to get the trade name approved and then Jaweria came back onto my case. Everyone else disappeared. Then comes the next step which is obtaining the approvals. Despite me telling Jaweria that my business is health and fitness from the very start, it is clear that they did not research the requirements BEFORE asking me to pay the deposit, before I paid over 100,000 AED for equipment and 50,000 AED for rent. They then told me AFTER I had signed my ejari (which they forced me to do even though nobody recommends signing ejari until after approvals), that the municipality rule is the place has to be more than 100sqm. One google search by me on the municipality website and I found this requirement stated very clearly, which makes me certain they have no clue what they are doing. They actually tried to blame my agent for not knowing this rule??? Fast forward 3 weeks of us trying to find a resolution for this, and me being promised every week that they have found something and they are working on it. I finally made the decision for my own peace of mind to give up with them. I was being led down a rabbit hole of false promises which was actually making me sick with anxiety and stress during Ramadan. Now, 20th March 2025 I am in a position where I have had to cancel my business plan, try to exit from a lease, I have spent over 150k on this business so far. Still, despite it all I am trying to be patient and calm. I have paid Express Pro 9,750 and I am having to fight to get this money back despite how much I have been wronged as a customer. All I can do is share my experience and hope they have heart enough to refund me my money and learn from this experience.
We worked with Paul, who promised us a lot, but after we paid there was no promise fulfilled or any work done at all. And from having a lot of contact to barely getting any response. Just a waste of time and money!
