My experience with Emirates Islamic Bank was horrendous, as their customer service is not supportive and their employees are not committed and trustworthy. My father is one of the customers of Dubai Festival City Branch for more than 1 year. Once one of their ATM machines took a 1000 AED by mistake and it took bank more than 1 month to refund it back to him. After that disappointing experience we recently figured out that bank deducted 725 AED from my father`s bank account due to the annual fee membership for not using sufficient amount of the EIB credit card without any prior warning. By the time we objected this decision, the person in charge mentioned this is the bank`s policy and filing a complain will not be useful in such cases. Even though they must be fully aware of terms and conditions, when asked that what was the substantial amount of purchase the teller had no idea. I do not recommend Emirates Islamic Bank to anyone for opening bank accounts.
