While I deeply appreciate your customer service team—who are always prompt, polite, and ready to assist whenever I call—I must express my disappointment with the outcome of a recent claim. My doctor recommended a minor surgical procedure, but to my surprise, the claim was rejected. When I sought clarification, the reasons provided were vague and unconvincing. This experience has been extremely frustrating, as it leaves me questioning the value and reliability of the insurance coverage. A rejection of a necessary and straightforward medical procedure undermines the purpose of having health insurance in the first place. That said, I want to acknowledge the efforts of your customer service team. Their professionalism and responsiveness are commendable and have been a bright spot in an otherwise challenging experience. But here we are. To patients and families: Avoid any insurer or policy that lists Mednet as the third-party administrator. Also avoid Takaful Emarat as they do no-thing to protect you, as the main insurance holder. They are not just incompetent; they are a risk to your family's safety. To insurance providers: Mednet is damaging your brand daily. Your clients blame you for the delays and emotional trauma caused by their lack of service. Reevaluate your partnerships immediately before your renewals and trust metrics plummet. To Takaful Emarat: Your Health Declaration forms are a true form of legal forgery. "Have you ever had..." open ended questions, questioning the patient history of health since they are born is how you make money in this sector. Unfortunately, we got to know about this after paying a 6-figure hospital bill. In any part of the World, insurance providers would ask patients to declare chronic diseases, not acute. In your case, a simple UTI is expected to be declared, a simple acne, stomach pain, flu, past diarrheas all expected to be declared. This is incredibly misleading and planted legally by your "very" professional legal team to deceive people like us, in their personal insurance (you can't pull this off in group policies now we know) policies. To aggregators like InsuranceMarket and PolicyBazaar: Your reputation takes a hit each time Mednet or Takaful Emarat are listed on your site. Associating your brand with theirs is a direct hit to your credibility and customer retention. To Mednet and Takaful Emarat executives (if you’re reading this): Your Google rating barely scrapes 1.5 stars. Your NPS score, if you’re collecting any real feedback, must be in deep negative territory. If you have any genuine intention of salvaging your name, invite affected families like ours to your office and confront the systemic rot you’ve enabled. Until then, know this: your business is on a fast track to losing contracts, credibility, and ultimately—bankruptcy. This isn’t just a review. For the sake of patient safety, transparency, and respect for the incredible standards this country is known for—Mednet and Takaful Emarat must be held accountable.

This year we change our Eids and we ask for put the basic plan because there is no sense to pay expensive plan if they will not cover nothing and we had a TERRIBLE experience. I coment to the agent that I used the insurance once, and we need to get our new police in one day (we explain carefull our situation) they told me that will be ready in one day. BUT THEY LIE.. we just can process one police, the other police because "the team" said that I use and the assume that I have a "pre existent condition" something that is COMPLETELEY WRONG (because who dont get some injury in their life-one injury that is completed healed to today)so they can not process my police. THEY MAKE ME LOST 2 DAYS TIME, and at the end they can not process... PLEASE CAPACITATE OR HIRE PEOPLE FOR YOUR "TEAM" to be eficient and NOT LIE. I waited for **two hours** with no resolution and eventually left, hoping for a callback confirming approval. At the reception, I was informed that the process could take **up to two days**. This is unacceptable. Why, despite having **paid for medical insurance**, am I unable to see a specialist in a timely manner? Delaying necessary healthcare—especially for sensitive issues—is irresponsible and stressful. Insurance approval should not take this long, and the lack of clear communication worsens the experience. I expect better efficiency and patient care from both the clinic and the insurance provider. Urgent medical needs should be prioritized, not stuck in bureaucratic delays.

I purchased medical insurance from this company at a significant cost, expecting reliable support when needed. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite. They consistently decline approvals — from basic consultations to essential medications and even hospital admissions. Today, my daughter was suffering from a very high fever, reaching over 40°C. The doctor strongly recommended hospitalization, but the insurance company refused to approve it simply because the influenza test was negative — despite an X-ray confirming a lung infection. Even basic treatments like antibiotics and nebulization were denied. I chose not to argue further at the time for the sake of my daughter’s comfort, but the level of negligence and lack of support is unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this insurance provider. It feels like they’re only interested in collecting premiums without offering the care or coverage they promise.

The "company" ghosting me for 4 months, with answering "Give us your Emirates ID", while I told them 10 times that there is no Emirates ID! I totally advise not to deal with that bad "company", they simply take your money without providing any service to you, ghosting without any proper answer. I feel scammed and completely let down. I bought a health insurance policy from them, only to find out later that it's practically useless — they reject almost all medications, offering zero support. And when I tried to cancel the policy (which is my right), they completely ignored me. Once they sell you the policy, you’re no longer of any value to them — you're just another number, and they move on to find the next victim. This was my first and definitely last experience with them. I strongly advise everyone to avoid them at all costs. I’ll also be filing formal complaints with the DHA to stop these unethical practices. People deserve better.

After some waiting, two of the medications were approved, while the third was rejected. This raises a valid question — does the insurance company know better than the doctor which medications are necessary for the patient? If so, why even visit a clinic when the insurance company seems to believe it is better qualified to determine what treatment the patient should receive? I visited the hospital due to a hand injury. The doctor advised that the hand should be immobilized to ensure a quicker recovery. However, I have now been waiting for over an hour while the insurance company “clarifies” matters with the doctor, and the procedure still hasn’t been approved. Unfortunately, this experience suggests that the patient’s well-being and time are not priorities for the insurance company. If you value your time and expect efficient and professional medical care, I recommend choosing an insurance provider that truly respects its clients and trusts medical professionals to do their job.

Just to get any way for us to pay when it should be covered. I’m currently sitting in the ER with my husband who is in severe pain waiting for his blood test to be approved & you guys keep sending more and more unnecessary queries (that have already been answered by the doctor by the way) just to put off approving his tests. Completely unacceptable behavior especially towards someone who is in severe pain
